...As Andrew brought different kinds of people to meet the Lord, so we, as Saint Andrew's Church, welcome all who come among us, and share them with the Lord.
We are shaped here by the regular celebration of the Holy Eucharist. We find that this Sacrament nourishes and strengthens us in ways that are concrete and tangible, mysterious and trustworthy. We find that Jesus, really present and known in the Eucharist, draws us together into an ever-deepening community, gathered around the holy table.
Saint Andrew's emphasizes the benefit of fine liturgy and the value of careful ritual in our worship (we believe in smells and bells!)
We commit ourselves to outreach, to serving the people of our local neighborhood and beyond, as the natural response of gratitude to the gifts given us by God.
We hold that both conversion of life and life in community characterize Christian discipline and existence. Our experiences is that our separation from God, one another and ourselves has been overcome through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ--and that we area people freed from sin and death, freed for relationship and life.
In Christ, The Reverend Marc Burnette, Rector
